Yeah, your game has quite a few news players. My game has ALL new characters, and a couple of new players! Ahh… fresh meat.
I'm looking forward to some new characters! :-) Looks like this next round might have 2 or 3 new chars!
Go to our Ustream.TV page to watch!
Sorry gang, but we have a camping trip planned this weekend and that, sadly, interferes with our game night! I talked with Daniel and he definitely wants to do another game soon, but it may be a couple more weeks. Until then, we can chat about ideas, thoughts, improvements… heck, even future plot ideas.. anything D&D related.
Well if you can think of anything we've missed. Let us know and we'll add it.
One idea that was proposed by a friend of mine was a "choose your own adventure" type thing where the audience is polled to determine what the players might find or face in the next room.
I want to know your thoughts on how we can improve the show experience for our viewers? In our short run, we have already done a bunch to make it better. Last time we did a PIP with a webcam that showed us around the table, and the main screen showed the digital table. We've got me sitting in the chat room and interacting. But what else can we do?
We added this wiki to allow viewers to better follow the action. But I'm now open to ideas or suggestions to make it more entertaining!
I attached character sheets to some of the character pages. These are PDFs as output from the character builder. Currently Frylar, Anita, Caelynna, and Raskin have the sheets attached. I have to get my hands on the other character files to print them.
That definitely saves me from hastily typing things into notepad—thanks!
The area effect/collateral damage problem is a great way to add characterization, I must say.
Hah, somehow I knew you would say that. I think the situations she gets into are more due to the fact that she is a controller than anything else. Many of her powers state "each creature in blast". This is always going to present potential collateral damage.
Ah yes! We know you! So, feel free to look around. We just created it today and are still filling in content. The thought here would be to have enough information that you guys can watch the show and look up various bits as needed. I saw that the cast page was pretty popular, so now we are putting together a character page, plots, stories, etc.
Mindartis does sound quite interesting. The character that's stood out so far for me has been Anita, for both reasonable and hilarious reasons!
Hi Shane, I'm one of your regular viewers, John.
Do you have a favorite character? If so, who, and why?
I'll start, but it's not fair, you guys don't know this character. I like Mindartis. He really acted like a low level wizard. Always questioning his abilities and decisions. Trying to make a difference, but struggling with this at every turn. He picked up the nickname of "Mindartis, the minion slayer" as it seemed that his attacks were really only effective against minions. I hope he makes an appearance on the show sometime.
